Is Your Dog Struggling With Any of These Common Behavior Issues?

If life with your puppy or dog has started to feel frustrating, stressful, or overwhelming, you are not alone. Many of the families we work with are dealing with the same real-life behavior challenges, and the good news is that with the right guidance, these issues can improve.

  • Pulling on the leash or making walks stressful

  • Reactivity towards other dogs, people, or distractions

  • Jumping on guests, counters, or getting overly excited

  • Anxiety, nervousness, or trouble settling down

  • Nipping, mouthing, or rough puppy behavior

  • Housebreaking accidents and crate training struggles

  • Counter surfing or getting into things they should not

  • Ignoring cues or struggling to listen around distractions

  • Aggression or concerning behavior toward people or other dogs

  • General household chaos that makes daily life harder than it should be

  • Ignoring cues or commands, and not coming when called

These are some of the most common reasons people reach out for in-home dog training in Canton, GA, and surrounding North Metro Atlanta areas. The good news is that your dog is not broken, and you do not have to figure it out alone.

Why In-Home Dog Training Works (& Gets Better Results)

Many dog owners assume group classes or board-and-train programs are the best way to fix behavior issues. While those options can work in certain situations, they often don’t address the root of the problem, because your dog’s behavior is happening in your everyday environment, and not in an artificial training facility.

In-home dog training allows us to work directly with your dog in the places where behaviors actually occur, like your home, your neighborhood, and your daily routines. This means we’re not just teaching your dog what to do in a controlled setting, we’re helping them learn how to behave in real life.

We also focus on coaching you as the pet parent, as you understand exactly how to communicate with your dog, reinforce the right behaviors, and handle challenges as they come up. This creates lasting results, not temporary fixes.

In-Home Training
Vs. Other Options:

  • Group Classes: Often too distracting and not tailored to your specific dog or situation

  • Board and Trains: Your dog may learn skills, but you’re not apart of the process, which can make it hard to maintain results at home.

  • In-Home Training: Fully customized, real-life training with hands-on guidance so you and your dog succeed together.

If your dog listens in their training environments, but struggles at home or on walks, the issue isn’t your dog… it’s that training hasn’t been applied to where it matters most.

What to Expect from In-Home Dog Training

Starting dog training can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve tried other methods that didn’t work. Our goal is to make the process simple, clear, and tailored specifically to you and your dog.

Your First Dog Training Session

Your first session is designed to give you immediate clarity and direction. We’ll take the time to understand and evaluate your dog’s behavior, your goals, and what’s been happening day-to-day.

During this session, we will:

  • Identify the root cause of your dog’s behavior

  • Show you exactly what to do differently

  • Start implementing practical training right away

  • Create a clear plan moving forward

You’ll leave your first session already seeing and feeling a difference.

Ongoing Training & Support

Training doesn’t stop after one session. We’ll continue building on your dog’s progress step-by-step, helping you apply training in real-life situations like:

  • Walks in your neighborhood

  • Visitors coming into your home

  • Public or higher-distraction environments, like parks and pet stores.

As your dog improves, we’ll adjust the plan to keep progress moving forward a way that feels manageable and realistic.

Dog Training That Fits Your Life

Every dog and household is different. That’s why all training is fully customized to your dog, your goals, and your lifestyle.

You won’t get a one-size-fits-all plan… you’ll get clear, practical guidance that works in your everyday life.

Our focus isn’t just on training your dog, it’s on giving you the tools, confidence, support, and understanding to create lasting results.

Dog Training
Options & Packages

Every dog and situation is different, which is why we offer flexible training options designed to meet you where you are and help you reach your goals.

Most clients start with an initial session or Foundation Plan to build strong, real-life results, and continue from there as needed.

How Dog Training Plans are Customized

Every dog is different, which means there’s no one-size-fits-all training plan.

We’ll start with a consultation to evaluate your dog or puppy, understand your goals, and see what’s really going on. From there, we will recommend the training plan that makes the most sense based on your dog’s needs and your lifestyle. Every lesson is 60-minutes in length, conducted at your home or a mutually agreed upon location, such as a park, or pet friendly store.

If you already have a package in mind, that’s absolutely okay too, as we can always adjust as we go.

You may see examples of behaviors or goals listed under each package, but those are just examples, not a fixed checklist.

Some dogs may need more focused on certain areas, while others move quickly through different skills. Every plan is customized so we’re working on what actually matters most for you and your dog.

There are great benefits in holding sessions remotely.
